The Glory League Mission Statement

I.A.M. Sportswear mission is to provide an NBA-esque environment to all those who participate in this huge event. Since OUR existence in 1997, I.A.M. Sportswear has maintain a TREMENDOUS reputation in Chicago street-ball and the sports entertainment world.

"The GLORY LEAGUE" is a mens' b-ball league that will showcase some of Chicago's top professional & non-professional athletes who attend the churches who enter on a weekly basis. The host site for this event will be held on the the city's historic south-side at Robichaux Park. For 8 weeks this event at Robichaux Park will consist of 7-12 teams competing for the the top spot, looking to gain city-wide exposure and bragging rights. The start date are Nov. 4th, 2009 with Championship Night on a date TBA at later time.

On this particular project, we are working with a host of churches, who want want to remain committed that the GLORY LEAGUE at Robichaux Park is just that "GIVING ALL THE GLORY TO GOD". Throughout the years, past and current NBA players as well as overseas players has come through the leagues we've hosted over the years. Together we shared one common goal which was to win championships and hopefully find jobs playing basketball professionally. In reference to the GLORY LEAGUE together our motives are to SAVE SOULS continuously, showcase to the youth in OUR urban communities thats its "OK!" to worship CHRIST and to find a church home you can be active in & remain the best in Chicago basketball with out tricks and gimmicks PERIOD.
